Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah. Our first day of classes for the 2026–27 school year is Sunday, September 6. Doors open at 9:45 AM and assembly begins promptly at 10:00 AM in the main hall.
This year brings a few changes we want families to know about before the first bell — most importantly a new lunch arrangement and a revised dismissal window. Everything else, including class times and the drop-off door, stays the same as last year.
Classroom assignments
Assignments will be emailed to the address on file by Thursday, September 3. Printed lists will also be posted outside the main hall on the first morning. If you have not received your email by Friday, please contact the office rather than waiting until Sunday.
Students placed in a new level should still report to the assembly hall first; teachers will walk each group to their room after announcements.
Lunch is now included in tuition
The school provides one meal daily (lunch only) from 11:35 AM to 12:00 PM. There will be no separate food collection on site this year, unlike previous years. Families with dietary restrictions should notify the office in writing.
What to bring on the first day
- A named water bottle — fountains are available but bottles cut down on hallway traffic.
- The completed emergency contact form, if you have not already submitted it online.
- A prayer garment for students who prefer their own for Zuhr.
- Notebooks and pencils; textbooks are distributed in class at no cost.
Dismissal
Masjid doors open at 12:40 PM for those joining Zuhr in the main musalla. School doors open at 1:00 PM for pick-up from the Islamic studies classrooms.
Early dismissal requests must be submitted before 12:15 PM by email. For everyone’s safety, parents are asked not to go to classrooms directly — students will be escorted to the front desk.

The office answers email throughout the week and is on site Sundays from 9:30 AM. We look forward to welcoming your children back, in shaa Allah.
